H-87 can mitigate weight gain, fat accumulation, and hyperlipidemia induced by a high-fat diet without suppressing food intake:
- (a) H-87 effectively slows down weight gain.
- (b) The food intake between the high-fat diet group and the high-fat diet + H-87 group is approximately the same.
- (c) The adipocyte size in mice on a high-fat diet is significantly larger than that in mice on a low-fat diet, while H-87 supplementation can significantly inhibit the increase in adipocyte size.
- (d) The weights of the three main white adipose tissues (eWAT, pWAT, and iWAT) in mice on a high-fat diet are significantly increased, whereas H-87 can effectively suppress weight gain in these mice.
- (e) H-87 supplementation can significantly reduce serum triglyceride and LDL levels.
