Kunshan Academic Delegation Visited Bioyitech for Industrial Innovation and Development

A delegation from the Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, including representatives from the Science and Technology Bureau, the Investment Management Department of Kunshan Engineering Research Institute, a private equity firm, and the National University Science and Technology Park (Kunshan) of Nanjing University, visited Bioyitech to explore industrial collaboration and promote the integration of industry, academia, and research in biotechnology, supporting the growth of the Yangtze River Delta's health industry.

Accompanied by Li Jiadong, General Manager of Bioyitech, and the technical team, the delegation visited Bioyitech's modern production base in Fengxian District, where 5 fully-automated production lines of high-activity lyophilised probiotic powders and ferments operate efficiently in the 4,300 square metres of intelligent production space, and the 100-level clean core workshop highlights the pharmaceutical-grade quality control standards.

At the symposium, Bioyitch showed in detail its innovative layout in the field of functional probiotics: its star strains focusing on metabolic health management have achieved large-scale application, and its special solutions such as fermented fruit and vegetable juices, dairy products, and traditional Chinese medicines have been highly recognised by the industry.

Tao Xi, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Kunshan Economic Development Zone, commended CCTC's science and innovation efforts, noting their solid industrial foundation through intelligent manufacturing, which sets a benchmark for biotech companies. Kunshan will fully support these hard tech enterprises in integrating into the Yangtze River Delta innovation ecosystem. Qiu Yanglu, General Manager of National University Science Park of Nanjing University (Kunshan), expressed his intent to leverage Nanjing University's research resources to foster deeper collaboration between the Kunshan Offshore Incubation Base and CCTC in strain development and talent sharing.

Capital enabling industry construction and development of new bureau

Representatives from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and private equity funds have expressed significant interest in Bioyitech's capitalization strategy. Deputy Minister Shi Xiaogang noted that Bioyitech's strategic initiatives in constructing a strain resource library and developing a functional product matrix are highly aligned with Kunshan's key focus on the biopharmaceutical industry. Senior Investment Manager Ye Xing suggested exploring the use of industrial funds to support the establishment of the company's innovation centers in North and South China, thereby accelerating the implementation of its "specialization, refinement, and sales" strategy.

During the discussions, Bioyitech's General Manager, Li Jiadong, emphasized that the company's planned probiotic industry research institute will concentrate on the development of rare strains and functional research. He expressed the desire for practical collaborations with Kunshan in technology transfer and the joint construction of pilot-scale production bases, with the aim of jointly establishing a globally competitive probiotic industry hub.

As a member of the National Dairy Technology Innovation Center and a National High-tech Enterprise, Bioyitech has established a comprehensive, vertically integrated value chain encompassing "strain research and development - intelligent manufacturing - health solutions." The company holds international certifications such as FDA and FSSC22000, and its subsidiaries and innovation center network extend globally.
