Functional Probiotics Gain Attention for Metabolic Disease Prevention and Management

During the conference's "International Forum on Innovative Integration of Chronic Disease Management," Dr. Xu Xianrui, Vice President of R&D at Bioyitech, delivered a presentation titled Intervention and Industrial Research of Functional Probiotics in Metabolic Diseases, which drew a full house.

Dr. Xu emphasized that with evolving lifestyles, metabolic diseases such as hyperuricemia and diabetes have become major public health concerns impacting national well-being. Beyond traditional therapeutic approaches, nutritional interventions utilizing targeted functional probiotics present a promising auxiliary management strategy due to their safety and high compliance.

"The functional properties of probiotic strains are highly specific; not all probiotics possess identical regulatory capabilities. Our research focuses on screening strains with documented functional evidence at the source and ensuring their stable activity and efficacy through industrial-scale production processes," Dr. Xu explained. He systematically elaborated on Bioyitech's comprehensive R&D approach, encompassing strain screening, mechanistic studies, clinical validation, and industrial translation of functional probiotics.

Grand Launch: "Jiang Xiao Yi - Acid Series/Sugar Series" ProBiotic Powders Officially Unveiled

Leveraging the conference platform, Bioyitech officially introduced its clinically validated functional probiotic powders, the "Jiang Xiao Yi" series, developed with evidence from top-tier hospitals. This series features two specialized formulations tailored for distinct metabolic concerns:

Blood Glucose and Lipid Management/Probiotics Premix/ZC-SUGII: Specifically addresses uric acid metabolism. Its core strains have undergone in vitro functional evaluation and animal studies, and a clinical trial at the Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital has been completed. The results demonstrated positive effects in lowering serum uric acid levels, significantly reducing reliance on emergency gout medications, and decreasing the frequency and duration of gout attacks.

Uric Acid Reduction /Probiotics Premix/ZC-URA: Focuses on blood glucose homeostasis. Research on the selected strains has confirmed their positive role in improving insulin sensitivity and modulating gut microbiota composition. This formulation has undergone clinical evidence-based research at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, providing robust scientific support for its efficacy.

The clinical validation of these two probiotic formulations by top-tier hospitals signifies a new era of more scientific, precise, and standardized development in the functional probiotic field.
