2024-10-30

From June 5-7, 2024, the "2024 New Nutrition Conference," jointly organized by New Nutrition, Nutrition Box, and Jonco Island, was held in Hangzhou. With the theme "Great Innovation in Nutrition," the conference attracted over 1,500 industry experts, more than 80 leading industry figures, and scholars to deeply explore the new demands, opportunities, and tasks faced by the big health industry in the new era. As a benchmark enterprise in the technological transformation of the probiotic industry, Bioyitech was invited to participate in the conference and showcased its latest achievements in probiotic research.

At the conference, Dr. Zhang Zhe, Deputy Director of the Special Food Use Probiotics/Fermentation Agents Innovation Joint Research Center at Ocean University of China, and Bioyitech, detailed how Bifidobacterium can improve intestinal barrier function to alleviate acute kidney injury induced by adenine in mice. This research brings hope to the gout-afflicted population and indicates the significant potential of probiotics in gout treatment.

On February 7, 2024, the National Health Commission released the "Dietary Guide for Adults with Hyperuricemia and Gout (2024 Edition)," reporting a rising trend in gout prevalence and a shift towards younger onset ages. The onset of hyperuricemia and gout is closely related to diet and lifestyle, especially the long-term intake of high-energy foods, large amounts of alcohol, and/or high-fructose beverages. Bioyitech's research findings offer new approaches for patients to manage gout.

With 30 years of foundational research and 20 years of industry technology accumulation, Bioyitech aims to "make our own probiotics for Chinese people." The company has become a member of the National Dairy Technology Innovation Center, a national high-tech enterprise, and has obtained certifications including FSSC22000, SEDEX, and HALAL, as well as export qualifications. Additionally, Bioyitech has collaborated with Ocean University of China to establish the Special Food Use Probiotics/Fermentation Agents Innovation Joint Research Center and with the School of Public Health at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University to co-establish a doctoral workstation. Boasting 102 functional probiotic strains, over 50 fermentation strains, and more than 10 postbiotic preparations, Bioyitech actively explores and promotes the application and transformation of research achievements in China's probiotic industry. The research findings shared at the New Nutrition Conference further demonstrate Bioyitech's technical strength and industry position in the probiotic field.

During the conference, Li Liangqiu, Executive Vice President of the China Nutrition and Health Food Association, and Zhang Yan, President of the Zhejiang Health Products and Cosmetics Industry Association, shared their insights on the development trends of the nutrition and health products industry. In the future, Bioyitech will continue to actively participate in industry exchanges and cooperation to contribute to the prosperity and development of China's nutrition and health industry.
